Technical Analyst

We are looking for a talented individual who will be responsible for guiding the technical strategy, implementing roadmaps and offering a bridge of support between our technical team and our clients.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

You will be part of a talented team of technical professionals, which include Front-End and Back-End Developers who are all at various stages of their career and level of knowledge and experience. You will be assisting with driving best practice across the team, helping to architect our solutions and providing ongoing support to the team throughout projects. 

• Working within the team to ensure the consistency of high quality and maintainable code on all projects
• Participating in a highly collaborative environment, regularly employing techniques such as pair programming and code reviews
• Integral in ensuring the team are achieving the delivery commitments, with a focus on clean code principles and quality outputs
• Reviewing internal processes and providing leadership on identified areas of improvement to ensure best practices are achieved across all projects‍

‍Essential Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field would be an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices. Strong experience with various programming languages, databases, cloud platforms and software development methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders. 
• A strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address complex technical challenges effectively. 
• A flexible and adaptable approach to handle changing priorities and evolving business needs. 
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay current with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• A real passion for building, shipping and scaling first-class digital products and services

Technical Skills 

Strong understanding and ability to demonstrate skills within the following areas would be a distinct advantage:

Backend Development 

• PHP Symfony Framework (PHP 7 and above)
• Symfony API Platform (Desirable)
• SOLID principles and design patterns 
  

Front End Development 

• React 
• Node Package Manager (NPM)
• Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets (Sass)
• HTML5 + CSS3 
  

Software Development Lifecycle 

• RESTful principles 
• Experience in consuming data from third party APIs
• A rigorous approach to testing
• Strong working knowledge of Git and GitGub 
• Proficient working with terminal commands 
  

Infrastructure

• Experience of working with AWS (Highly desirable)
• Experience of build and managing continuous integration pipelines (Highly desirable)
