What’s your current title? What do you want your next role to be? Sales Director? Business Development Manager? Commercial Director?

We don’t care about titles at Calls9, we just know what we want- and that’s the right person to join us in this role that is pivotal to creating and deepening relationships with our customers, we understand the importance of sales and, as such, are looking for someone who wants to develop with the business- this role will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, with the opportunity for a Board position and shares in the business.

You will be known for your ability to build relationships and rapport with people. The role will provide you with the opportunity to generate significant sales opportunities through the creation of new accounts, as well as the development of existing strategic accounts. You will be an adventurous, friendly and confident problem solver who will understand digital and the capabilities of our team to bring customers to the company that can achieve our high targets, and drive forward the products and services that Calls9 are proud to offer.

You will be looking for the move to a company where you will be trusted to lead our commercial activities and where your work will have a big impact.

Your role:

It is essential you are a ‘team first’ person, understanding our current capabilities and aligning your strategic ideas and vision to work collaboratively with potential customers and our team to move our business forward. You will also be creative, able to spot opportunities in the market where we could offer new products and services or tailor our existing ones to drive growth.

Your experience, essential:

  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales/sales manager/ sales director / business development director (we don’t care about titles- we care about your experience and attitude!) developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable digital solutions in a digital agency / software development setting
  • Proven ability to position products and services against competitors
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from strategy, planning, pitching, proposals through to close
  • Proven ability to meet/ exceeding targets

Desirable experience:

  • Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Ensure development of these products and services based on customer feedback- to improve at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience working with Client Services teams, to motivate and support them to meet internal targets
