The GO! Network is an industry-leading marketing intermediary that connects high-growth brands with best-in-class agencies across the UK. The network supports brands by running the search and selection process from end to end, so they have a better chance of success in the long run.


The Challenge

The GO! team approached Calls9 to design and build a new website to boost conversions, drive user engagement and improve the digital customer experience. The challenges they faced with their current website were that: 

  • The team had outgrown their WordPress website and needed to freshen up their digital presence, launching a fantastic looking and functional website.
  • Their existing WordPress website made it difficult to administer new content, including white papers, events, blogs, case studies etc. 
  • They needed an enhanced user experience with easy to find and interact content. 

The Transformation

We started this project by going through our Fusion process with the GO! team to understand their business, customers and industry and what functionality and experiences they needed. The Fusion process gave us a holistic view of what The GO! Network wanted to achieve and enabled us to build, design and launch their new website in record time.

Our objective was to design a website that would enhance the customer experience, enable better ways of working for their team and create growth opportunities for The GO! Network.

Designing the GO! Experience

Our creative team hit the ground running and worked with the GO! team to create a modern, engaging and dynamic website that reflects their brand. The new website makes it easy for users to navigate and find what they need in just a few clicks. We designed several Lottie, hover and scroll animations that are subtle but impactful and make the website feel interactive. We also wanted to provide users with a clear overview of what GO! is and the work they do instantly, avoiding over-design and too much information that would distract users. 

Creating a resource hub to engage brands and agencies

The primary focus of the website is to provide the network's customers with high-quality content in various formats, ranging from blogs, events and white papers to case studies. We designed an Insights section that the GO! team can use to publish content under specific categories to make it easy for users to find what they are looking for. We also created functionality to allow any content to be searchable and filterable, enhancing the user experience further.

Users can also download resources from the website or reserve their place for GO! events quick and easy. In addition to capturing users' contact details, the lead generation forms are designed to make the distinction between Brands and Agencies possible, helping GO! collect quality lead information.

Straightforward website and content management

The GO! team wanted a quick and straightforward way to create, manage and publish content to their website and, to be able to make changes to the design of the website without needing the help of a developer. With the new back-end functionality we designed, they no longer have to use WordPress inflexible templates and blog-centric content structures. The new CMS functionality includes easily customisable templates designed to accommodate the different content types GO! publish on their website. It also allows filter functionality that makes it possible for GO! to create distinctive content categories.

Using the new website functionality, the GO! team can quickly create event registration pages and white paper download pages using templates that can be customised. This makes it more time and cost-efficient, as they do not need to use external tools to create new landing pages for resources or events, bringing everything into one place. Most importantly? GO! has the freedom to make changes on their website without the fear of breaking it!
